Is an appointment the only way?

A large proportion of injuries can be treated "hands-off". Many UK hospital trusts have physio/PT phonelines. But I think they're paying lip service to telehealth.
Instead of making the appointment the default option, why not make the "hands-off" service the default option?
It's high in my thoughts & here's a blog post I wrote a few weeks ago.
